British boys are in crisis. With almost half of marriages predicted to end in divorce, and nearly two-thirds of fathers losing contact with their kids within two years of a relationship breakdown, huge numbers of children are growing up without their fathers.

This thought-provoking film follows two fathers and sons who want to re-build their relationships before it's too late. I Want My Dad Back is an emotional experience - sometimes painful, sometimes joyful - for everyone involved.

THEME-CENTRED CLINICAL DISCUSSION GROUP WITH ANDREW SAMUELS

I am planning to run another theme-centred clinical discussion group, this time exploring an interweave of relational psychoanalysis and post-Jungian analysis.

(The previous four groups looked at political, social and cultural issues from a psychotherapy perspective.)

Special features of the group will include visits by well-known relational and Jungian clinicians from outside Britain and plans for the group to attend one or two conferences as a group with subsequent discussion.

The group will take place fortnightly in Tufnell Park, on Fridays from 4.30pm to 6pm, approximately 17-20 weeks per year.

Duration: in the first instance one year. Starting date: May 2008. Size: between four and eight members. Confidentiality asked for.
